- We are the Ignatowicz family—“The Igs,” as we are affectionately known.
There are five of us: Mark and Samantha, along with Skylar (age 5), Soleil (age 3) and Drake (age 1).
ACT I: The New Jersey Coastal Baby Rental Story:
Coastal Baby Rentals (CBR) was the brainchild of Founder Stephanie Frith. She established CBR to meet an obvious need—help vacationing families at the Jersey Shore get access to all the best baby equipment that they couldn’t bring from home. Offering quality products with excellent customer service and a personal touch has been the secret to CBR’s success. How do we know that? We were customers on a prior trip to the Jersey Shore, and we were so blown away that we decided to buy the business.
That’s right. In 2012, we (the Ignatowicz family), moved back to the Garden State and took over CBR, pledging to continue filling the void and offering the same excellent service established by its founder. Mark is a Garden State native and has always felt the magnetic pull of the Jersey Shore, even when living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Samantha (that’s me) was literally born worlds away in Burma, but we met while we were both working in the semiconductor and engineering fields. From there, the corporate world took us on a whirlwind tour, and each of our kids was born in a different time zone: Skylar in California, Soleil in Minnesota, and Drake in New Jersey.
All that moving and packing taught us much about the challenges of traveling with a party of five. Children are a blast! Dragging premium, safe and clean baby equipment around the country is not. So after we stumbled across CBR, we were so enthralled with our experience that we decided to ditch the corporate life and run this family business.
That’s our story. We remain committed to providing you with the premium and reliable baby equipment for all your family visits with friends and family. These are the very same products that we use with our family.
ACT II: Expanding to Palm Beach County:
Importantly, we wanted to have the same connection to South Florida as we did with New Jersey, We have established that with our regional manager, Lisa Hawk, who is a true south Floridian— raised in Delray Beach as well as her husband Ben who grew up in the South Florida area, both of them went to the same high school and they rekindled their friendship during a reunion. The rest is the history. The Hawks are blessed with three children, Harper, Kole and Barrett, and they have serious roots and are committed to the area. In fact, the Hawks were originally CBR customers at the Jersey Shore, and now they are running the CBR business in Palm Beach County.
When customers become caretakers of the business, you can be assured that they are personally invested. We think this says a lot, and we are delighted that the Hawk Family is helping CBR offer premium baby equipment for all your family visits to Palm Beach County.
